Taking away the borders between the different design-disciplines and improving 'integrated thinking' by doing so, is an important goal Lab 4 aims at. Graphic design, webdesign, music, art en architecture inspire one another and the combination leads to a new phenomenon: the interdisciplinary designer.
The New Taxandria Foundation is raised, among other reasons, to investigate the possibilities of building in the green country area. The recent tendency shows a turnover from the untill now ruling prohibition towards building in a green environment. The VROM-raad came in 2004 with a 'no, unless' policy that has been taken over by minister Dekker. With the word 'unless' adding value to the country area is implied. NTF adds value to the landscape with its respect for the environment, its history and background. Like true pioneers we investage the possibility of a system that's more advanced than our current democracy. The plans of NTF are being developped with a team of experts.
