The strength of the individual is evident in all the work Lab 4 produced. This originates from the humanistic philosophy of Lab 4 and its founder. With the individual as the starting point, there is no differentiation made in groups. Discussions take place based on human equality, bringing the development of ambient intelligence and a higher quality of life within close reach. Starting with everybody as equal, working together is made easy and the communication is optimal.
Sound design and music are important methods of interaction and are used more and more by Lab 4. The reigning culture in offices hardly allows sound. This has become a poor environment since sound and audiovisual elements are a substantial part of the web and of modern life.
